Did you get your ACGME Resident & Faculty Survey results?

Many programs and institutions recently received their 2016-2017 ACGME Resident & Faculty Survey results.  This is very important data that should be used in the APE and the AIR to identify opportunities for improvement and to develop action plans.  It’s important to trend this data over time in order to effectively use for the self-study as well.  Although, the results are presented so that you can see the program/institution means from the three most recent academic years in each of the 5 survey domains, it’s a good idea to also create a template where you can drill down to the individual question to assess any trends over time.  Doing so will give you the best bang for your buck when it’s time to conduct the APE and/or AIR and develop action plans.
